2022 Helga Schroeter Memorial Scholarship Recipient
Congratulations Amunique Waters! WGGS wishes you much success and happiness in your future endeavors!
Thank you for your donations!
WGGS is so grateful for all the very generous donations to the Peer Leadership Stipend fund. WGGS is thrilled to be continuing our collaboration with SiCM again this summer and providing this amazing 4 week program at Fehr Urban Farm for the girls (was at Vale Farm, but was moved due to construction). Because of this support, these girls will have the chance to be in nature, work with their hearts and hands and connect with a community who cares for them during the summer months. We look forward to watching the girls “reap what they sow”!

Students Connect with their Community via Virtual Workshops
On May 12th and May 26th, Ebony Belmar and Dennis Green spearheaded an effort to provide virtual programming as an alternative to our normally-scheduled Girls’ Day Out and Boys’ Day Out programs. At least 200 students participated, and likely more, since some classrooms logged in on a shared account. Presenters and attendees were really excited by the wide variety of wonderful topics and the opportunity to connect the schools with so many community resources. Here are the workshops and presenters:
