Digital Citizenship
We heard from local teens as they talked about the ups and downs of their digital lives at our program Digital Citizenship and Social Media: A Conversation for Families on November 1 in the McChensey Room at the Schenectady Central Library.
They discussed issues like how social media affects their relationships and their lives and gave us candid information about activities like cyber-bullying and sexting. We are hoping to have more workshops like these in the future to educate parents and the community so that we can guide our ‘tweens and teens to make good choices.
We’ll list upcoming events here, and you can also subscribe to our events via Facebook so that you’ll get notifications when information becomes available (from our Facebook page, click “Events” and then “Subscribe”).
